Terms of service

You may use MyOliChef only if you can enter into a binding agreement and comply with applicable law. You are responsible for activity performed through your account or device.

If you create an account, keep your sign-in method secure and provide accurate information. We may suspend access when we detect abuse, fraud, or material violations of these terms.

MyOliChef helps users capture, generate, edit, organize, and share recipe content. Some features are free, while others require an active paid subscription.

Feature availability may vary by platform, region, account status, and whether a feature is still being tested or rolled out.

MyOliChef may offer auto-renewing subscriptions, including Oli Pro plans sold through Apple App Store or Google Play. Localized pricing, billing currency, taxes, and final charges are shown by the relevant app store at checkout.

If a free trial is offered, eligibility, duration, and conversion timing are determined by the applicable store. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription may convert into a paid plan automatically according to the store terms displayed at purchase.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app or account does not by itself cancel an active subscription.

You can restore eligible purchases from within the app where supported. Cancellations and refund requests are handled by the store through which you subscribed, subject to that store's policies and any mandatory consumer rights.

We do not control store billing systems and cannot guarantee refunds outside the channels provided by Apple or Google.

You retain responsibility for the recipes, photos, audio, notes, and other content you submit. You confirm that you have the rights needed to upload and share that content.

You grant us a limited right to host, process, format, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

MyOliChef includes AI-assisted extraction, generation, adaptation, improvement, and export features. AI output may contain mistakes, omissions, or interpretations that require your review before use, cooking, sharing, or publication.

You remain responsible for verifying ingredients, allergens, quantities, timings, and food safety implications.

You may not use MyOliChef for illegal content, harassment, infringement, security testing without permission, scraping that harms the service, payment abuse, or attempts to bypass quotas, paywalls, or access controls.

We rely on the following providers to operate MyOliChef. This list reflects the current implementation of the product.

• RevenueCat

  Purpose: Subscription management, entitlement state, and purchase restoration.

  Data shared: Internal billing user identifier, subscription state, active products, and purchase/restore events.

  Notes: Used to present the hosted paywall, validate purchases, and sync Pro access.

• Apple App Store / StoreKit

  Purpose: In-app purchase processing on iOS.

  Data shared: Selected subscription products, localized price, purchase state, renewal, trial, and restore state.

  Notes: Apple handles billing, auto-renewal, and applicable cancellation/refund policies on iOS.

• Google Play Billing

  Purpose: In-app purchase processing on Android.

  Data shared: Selected subscription products, localized price, purchase state, renewal, trial, and restore state.

  Notes: Google handles billing, auto-renewal, and applicable cancellation/refund policies on Android.

• Clerk

  Purpose: Authentication and user account management.

  Data shared: Email address, account identifier, session status, and basic profile metadata.

  Notes: Used for sign in, sign up, and profile management.

• Convex

  Purpose: Backend, database, and application functions.

  Data shared: Recipe content, account metadata, anonymous sessions, and operational data.

  Notes: Used to store recipes, ownership permissions, and product data.

• OpenRouter

  Purpose: AI processing for extraction, improvement, and recipe illustrations.

  Data shared: Recipe text and, when applicable, images or audio uploaded by the user.

  Notes: Requests may be routed to model providers according to service configuration.

• UploadThing

  Purpose: Media file upload and storage.

  Data shared: Source images and audio, plus generated recipe illustrations.

  Notes: Used to persist files linked to each recipe.

• Vercel

  Purpose: Hosting and runtime execution for the web app and APIs.

  Data shared: HTTP requests, IP address, user-agent, and technical execution logs.

  Notes: Used to serve the app and process server routes.

• Vercel Web Analytics

  Purpose: Usage and page performance analytics.

  Data shared: Navigation events and aggregated traffic/performance metrics.

  Notes: Helps us measure product usage and prioritize improvements.

• WhatsApp (sharing action)

  Purpose: Share recipes by link when requested by the user.

  Data shared: Recipe text and link that the user decides to share.

  Notes: Only triggered when using the WhatsApp share button.

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, including paid features, when needed for security, legal compliance, supplier changes, or product evolution. We may also suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated.

MyOliChef is provided on an as available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of uninterrupted availability, perfect accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
